low grade (shallow) geothermal energy

When installed to depths of 1200 meters, ambient heat will generally not exceed 40-50 degrees Celsius. Thus, to use the heat for heating purposes, a heat pump is usually needed to obtain the required temperature. This is indirect geothermal energy. NotusPid offers the necessary solutions for this

high grade (deep) geothermal energy

With an ambient temperature of 75 degrees Celsius or higher, geothermal heat can often be used directly. Via a heat exchanger this heat is transferred to a medium which can be heated directly.

With circulation temperatures of 125 degrees Celsius and above, electricity can also be generated.
